Catalytic converters are our most important products, but we also manufacture downpipes complete with flexible connectors, intermediate pipes and also other automotive exhaust systems components.

Universal Catalytic Converters Emico specializes in high quality and high durability round converters, which are suitable for almost all applications. We also manufacture oval converters with or without air as required by our customers. The inlet and outlet neck diameters (I.D.) are typically 1.75", 2", 2.5" and 3". They can be made as per customer specification if typical sizes are not suitable. |

OBD II Catalytic Converters Catalytic converters used for OBD II (On-Board Diagnostics, second generation) applications must be designed differently and perform to higher specifications in respect to catalytic activity and overall durability. They must also meet a more demanding set of certification tests to be approved as replacement catalysts, especially in California. Emico works on the design and certification of such catalytic converters. |

High Flow Performance Catalytic Converters Emico makes high flow catalytic converters for performance oriented car enthusiasts. For these applications we use large inlet and outlet converter funnels and metallic foil catalyst substrates to ensure minimal back pressure and compatibility with high flow exhaust systems. |

Down Pipes The downpipes we make are of a very high quality in comparison to competitors products. Many are 100% O.E. products, using the original materials, components and manufacturing methods. We always use the proper stainless steel tubes, OE flexes and thick, flat flanges which do not require "fitting" and "sealing". Tubes are usually bent using the mandrel bender, which prevents tube cross sections from deforming and wrinkling. |
